April 2022

At YAIPak Outreach everything starts with the extravagant love of Christ. God pursues each one of us to redefine our identity, restore our dignity, and remind us how deeply we are loved. With a focus on women, children and veterans, we are witnessing that power of extravagant love each day.

Our warehouse is located at 211 S. 2nd Street. We are open for donations and volunteers on Mondays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12 to 2pm, and Thursdays from 5 to 8pm.

YAIPak Outreach in the Community

We are so incredibly grateful for all you do to be a part of what is happening at YAIPak Outreach. Big things are coming and we would love if you would take a moment to watch this video and read below for some incredible updates and vision.

Join us as we SPRING INTO ACTION!!

Your Generosity at Work

Your giving has made a huge difference! Because of you, in 2021 over 400,000 lives were impacted. We have reached thousands through your kindness, but there are still many in need daily.

Project Foster Hope - Through our Foster Hope project we have a dream of expanding our resources and creating not only a closet of items necessary, but also a place to provide wrap around care for the child, it's case workers or social workers and the families caring for these sweet souls.

Project Patriot Hope - With our projects focused on our Veterans in 2021 we were able to touch over 1,200 individuals who served our country. From Operation Turkey Drop, our partnerships with VA Services and Operation Standown, and our Totes of Hope initiative we will be able to continue this reach and go beyond our call of duty to serve those in need.

Project Rebuild Hope - It is our goal to be prepped and ready so when calls of disaster come in we can answer those calls quickly, safely, and efficiently. Last year in August we were the first response team in the town for the Waverly Flash Flood, and one of the first teams to deploy for the December 2021 tornadoes in Kentucky. We are still actively involved and on the scene in Mayfield, Dawson Springs, and other counties in KY bringing supplies, offering support, and meeting the need. We want to provide excellence in every phase: Response, Recovery, & Rebuilding.

Be The Hope - With the ability to become a Community Resource Center, we have been able to greatly support many other local organizations and teams. Community events, missions teams and missions trips have been able to be supported through our umbrella mission "Be The Hope". It's a message we want to send all and everything we do to go through the lense of bringing Hope to others.

We can't do this without you and we know there is so much more to do. This is a call to ACTION! Will you join us and support us in helping others?

Volunteer Spotlight

CHELSEY KEES

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN VOLUNTEERING WITH YAIPAK OUTREACH?

"I have had the opportunity to be on the board as the Secretary for the entirety of YAIPak Outreach when it was created in May of 2016. Since moving to TN in September of 2017 I have been able to be even more hands on helping with events or community outreaches...really whatever is needed. "

HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT YAIPAK OUTREACH?

"My mom Sherry is the founder of YAIPak Outreach. I have heard the dreams and visions in her heart and mind for so long and have been so amazed to see it all come to fruitition more than ANYONE could have imagined."

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER WITH YAIPAK OUTREACH?

"I get to play a very special role in this story. My mom gets to share our story of the miracle that unfolded in her life, therefore it unfolded in mine as well. I want to serve as often as I can not only to be helpful but to see that life change in others."

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PART OF BEING AT THE WAREHOUSE?

"We have so much fun!! The community that has developed here is like it's own little family. Because I get to come here, my kids have made friends, been very active, and learned what it means to serve others before ourselves."

WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WANTING TO JUMP INTO VOLUNTEERING?

"DO IT! You will be more changed than you think by simply stepping out and showing up to serve others."
